Nelly Wilson

In his will written September 8, 1853 and probated October 18, 1853, James Wilson mentions wife Elizabeth and sisters Nelly Hitch, Rachel Waller, Betsy Weatherly, Eleanor Bounds and Anne Bedsworth. He also mentions brothers Levin and Ralph Wilson. (Somerset County Wills, 1837-59, Folios 222-223)

Nelly married Robert Hitch, son of Ezekiel Hitch and Elizabeth Hopkins, on 17 Jul 1806. (Robert Hitch was born on 28 Jan 1781 in Somerset Co., MD, died on 24 May 1834 in Somerset Co., MD and was buried about 27 May 1834 in Old Hitch Family Graveyard, West Rd., Salisbury, Wicomico Co., MD.)
