In his will written March 14, 1856 and probated May 6, 1856, Hyram Hearn mentions wife Jane; sons John W. and Robert Levron Wilson Hearn; and daughters Nancy Hitch and Elizabeth D. Disharoon. George W. Hitch, John E. Fowler and James E. Cathell were witnesses. (Somerset County Wills, 1837-59, Folios 266-267)
In her Maryland Death Certificate, it states that Nancy hitch was from MD and died at age 68 on October 7, 1900. She had seven children living.
Nancy married Robert Hitch, son of Robert Hitch and Nelly Wilson, on 23 Jan 1854 in Somerset Co., MD. (Robert Hitch was born on 14 Aug 1827 in Somerset Co., MD, died on 08 Oct 1910 in Wicomico Co., MD and was buried about 11 Oct 1910 in Parsons Cemetery, Salisbury, Wicomico Co., MD.)
