Johnnie Mitchell Dixon, 84, of Corsicana passed away Saturday, June 30, 2001 at his residence. Services will be 2 p.m. today at Griffin-Roughton Funeral Home with Bro. Bill Honea officiating. Interment will follow at Pattison Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Charles Johnson Sr., Charles Johnson Jr., Adam Nance, Michael Dixon, Nate Branden, and Leslie Cotten. Mr. Dixon was born July 19, 1916 at Emhouse. He was retired from John Deere. Mr. Dixon is survived by his wife, Golden Eveyln Richardson Dixon of Corsicana; son, Johnny Edward Dixon of Frisco; daughter, Betty Ann Dixon Johnston of Corsicana; grandchildren, Cheryl Renee Dixon Deeds, Michael Edward Dixon, Charles Harold Johnston Jr., and Latanya Leigh Johnston Nance; great-grandchildren, Caleb Alexander Dixon, Nicholas Aaron Deeds, and Kayla Marie Deeds; brother, Quint Loyd Dixon of Corsicana; and sister, Edith Lee Hitchcock of Corsicana.
