Miss Gattie Fooks
Miss Gattie Fooks, sister of the late Handy Fooks of Salisbury, died
Thursday evening of last week at the home of her niece, Mrs. I. V.
Phillips, in Philadelphia. The deceased was born near Pittsville,
then Worcester county, in July 1800, and for more than half a century
resided in that neighborhood. About thirty years ago she moved to
Philadelphia , where she has since made her home. she was an aunt of
Dr. S. P. Dennis of this city. Her remains were brought to Salisbury
Monday afternoon and interred in Parsons Cemetery"
