She married Stringer Mulholland (as Melholloms) on May 9 1781 in Northampton Co., VA. John Meholloms was security on the M.L.B. of Stringer Meholloms and Bridget Edmunds, daughter of David Edmunds who gave consent.

Bridget "Holloms" was named in her sister's will on Mar 27 1788 (proven Sep 9 1794) in Northampton Co. where sister, Abigail Edmunds, gave to Abigail Belote and Isaac Smith for their supporting me as long as I shall live negroes Lucy, Jinny, Littleton, Silby and Mary. To her brother Thomas Edmunds negro boy Anus. To sister Bridget Holloms negro girl Sarah, but the first child that Sarah shall have I give to my sister Ann Edmunds. Bridget married Joseph Hanby on Jan 19 1791 in Northampton Co. with Isaac Bull providing security on the marriage license bann of Joseph Hanby and Bridget Dalby.

Edmond Bell is named as the executor of the will of Bridget Hanby (as Hamby) on May 3 1824. In it, Bridget Hamby gave to grandson John Smith my Negro woman Sarah. I give to grandson William Hamby my Bible. I give to my grand daughter Sally Bell. I give to my daughter in law Polly Bell my warmin pan. I give to my sister Nancy Dowty. I give to Susi Hamby. The balance of my estate after paying my just debts, I leave to be equally divided between my granddaughters Susanna Ward, Ann Smith & Mary Brown. I do appoint Edmond Bell executor. Signed with her mark, Bridget Hamby. Witnesses: Anthony Bell and John Hamby.
