John Wascott wrote his will on Oct 6 1733 and it was proven in Northampton Co. on Nov 13 1733:
- To son Stephen, one of my guns and the other to son John. My hand mill to remain on my plantation and Stephen to have privilege to use it for life
- After wife's widowhood, estate to be equally divided between my wife and children viz., Stephen, John, Elizabeth, Ann, Mary, Sophia, Rachel and Sarah Wascott
- wife and son Stephen to be executors (wife not named in will be identified as Anne in other probate documents)
Witnesses: Jonas Batson, Matthew Batson (NoVAW-XXVI-R-18:21)
John married Anne Johnson, daughter of Edmund Johnson and Ann Kelly. (Anne Johnson was born about 1696 and died before 1782 in Northampton Co., VA.)
