James Alexander Noble

James Noble was the son of George Arnold Noble and Charlotte McDorman Noble; and brother of George, Julius, Laura, Addie, Esther, Nora, Ella and Denwood Noble. His father died when James was fifteen years old.
For many years, James was in the contracting business with his brother George Noble. He also was a farmer.
James died in October 1942 at the Somerset County home where he was born. For six weeks prior to his death, James had been confined to a hospital in Philadelphia. Funeral services were conducted by Rev Gilbert Turner, pastor of St Peter's Methodist Church in Oriole.
