Sheila Ann Parker Polk, the daughter of Virginia Parker and the late William Lenberg Parker, was born July 20, 1952 in Salisbury, Maryland. She entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. She was raised in Fruitland, Maryland and attended Wicomico High School, James M. Bennett High School and also Wor-Wic Tech for two years, all in Salisbury, Maryland. Sheila was an outgoing person who loved people and had a deep affection and passion for everyone. Sheila is survived by: her husband, Nelson Polk of fifty-two (52) years; her mother, Virginia Parker; four children, Vonnie Mayers (Lydell), Lonnie Polk, Patricia Wilson (Tony) and Nancy Butter; her siblings, William Parker, Jr. of Fruitland, MD, Nathaniel Parker of Wilmington, North Carolina, Helena Winder of Salisbury Maryland and Shannon Chester of Princess Anne, Maryland; fourteen (14) grandchildren; nineteen (19) great grandchildren; 3 sisters-in-law; 2 brothers-in- law and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to her father, Sheila was preceded in death by her sister, Carolyn Saunders.
Sheila married Nelson Polk in 1970 in MD.
