(Bef 1710-Bef 1743) |
Thomas Mitchell
Notes: A Thomas Mitchell is named in Bogerternoton 100 in the Somerset Tax Lists for 1731, 1735, 1740 with two unnamed slaves, the latter being the last year before Worcester peeled off as its own county. He is most probably Thomas Mitchell in Mattapany 100 in 1728 and 1729 as a dependent in the Samuel Hopkins household with others Josiah and John Hopkins (note that Samuel Hopkins witnessed his will in 1743). In 1727, he was in the same Samuel Hopkins household but with another Samuel with Josiah and John. Thomas married Tabitha Hopkins? about 1730 in Somerset Co., MD. (Tabitha Hopkins? was born about 1712 in Somerset Co., MD and died after 1769 in Worcester Co., MD.) |
