SALISBURY\emdash Eleanor Cropper, 93, of Salisbury died Saturday, May 11, 2013, at Lakeside Assisted Living in Salisbury. Born in Atlantic City, N.J. on June 4, 1919, she was the daughter of the late William and Margaret Perry. Mrs. Cropper moved to Berlin in 1929, where she graduated from Buckingham High School. In 1939 she married Calvin H. Cropper. In 1941, they moved to Salisbury and together they opened Salisbury Automotive. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church for 63 years where, she was a member of Martha Circle. Her community activities included the Town & Country Garden Club; P.E.O. Sisterhood, and the Rotary Women's Organization, Inner Wheel. In addition, she enjoyed working in her flower garden and creating flower arrangements. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; a sister, Ethel Perry; son-in-law, Bill Potts and a brother-in-law, Elwood Bunting. She is survived by her daughter, Gail Potts; granddaughter, Karen Potts; son, Bill Cropper and his wife, Shirley; grandson, Dale Cropper and his wife, Amy; great-grandchildren, Sydney, Megan and Nicholas Cropper; sister, Betty Bunting; niece, Beverly Timmons ; nephews, Woody and Douglas Bunting and several great-nieces and nephews. She is also survived by a loving caregiver, Lenora Dashiell. A funeral service will be held Wednesday at 2 p.m. at Holloway Funeral Home with visitation one hour prior to the service. The Rev. Glenn Catley will officiate. Interment will be in Wicomico Memorial Park in Salisbury.
