Catherine Hankinson Hagaman was the daughter of Thomas and Hannah (Gray) Hankinson. Beloved wife and mother, greatly respected tavern owner and landlord. Owned and operated Hagaman's Tavern with her husband.

Catherine Hankinson Hagaman was the second cousin once removed of John Hankinson; find-a-grave mem.#40605661. John Hankinson built the Monmouth Plantation Mansion in 1818 in Natchez, Mississippi. Today, Monmouth Plantation is one of the world's foremost small bed and breakfast inns.
