The WW I draft registrations record lists his birth year in 1892 and born in Mt. Vernon, MD and describes him as tall, negro, married with a child (in June 1917) and working as a timber hauler. He signed his own name. WW II Draft Registration lists his birth year as 1893. It also states he is "white" with light complexion though there is little doubt he is Isaac Hitch, son of Dennis Hitch, African American. He is listed as 5'-6.5", 188 lbs, blue eyes and gray hair and did not sign his name (he left "his mark"). His wife is listed as Alberta Hitch. This record is from Apr 1942.
Isaac married Alberta Gale Jones, daughter of (?) Jones and Anna A. (?), in 1908 in MD. (Alberta Gale Jones was born in 1894-1897 in MD.)
