Debra Eva Townsend, 66, of Edgewood, KY passed away Friday, July 27, 2018. Debra enjoyed helping people, and loved volunteering at the food pantry. Feeding people in need was a true passion of hers, and when she wasn't spending time with her family, she was helping someone in need. She was preceded in death by her husband: Gary Townsend, and her parents: Howard and Maxine Hitch. Debra is survived by her loving children: Keith Townsend, Racheal Penny, and Brandon Townsend, her beloved grandchildren: Amber Crabtree (Trent), Sierra Snow, Gary Penny, and Hannah Penny, her great-grandchildren: Landon, Elizabeth, and Addison Crabtree, her dear brother: Robert "Lanny" Hitch (Judy), and several nieces, nephews, and friends. A celebration of Debra's life will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2018 at 11am at Gracepoint Community Church of the Nazarene, 1438 Cox Avenue, Erlanger, KY 41018. In lieu of flowers, Debra requested that guests bring non-perishable food items to donate to the Church's Food Pantry.
