Samuel * Hitch
*This line is uncertain but we know Robert Hitch had a son Samuel who was young when Robert died. It is very conceivable that this son migrated west to Kentucky once he was old enough. The age works too, for a Samuel Hitch to be in KY in 1790 but, still not much is known of the Samuel Hitch there other than he was in Bourbon Co., Kentucky in 1790 when his daughter Polly was married. He may have had a son Samuel Hitch listed in the 1810 Barren Co., Kentucky Census as age 26 to 45 (born 1765-1784). At the time that Samuel Hitch is listed with one son and one daughter under age 10 and a wife age 26-45. He is also listed with four slaves.
