To 3 daughters my interest in Tangier Island, to each 1/3 and not to sell except to each other. To grandson Scarburgh Drummond. To grandson Henry, son of my said son Henry Scarburgh. To grandson Charles, son of my said son Charles Scarburgh. Granddaughter Ann Parker. Granddaughter Elizabeth Bagwell. Granddaughter Edith Baily. Daughters Mary, Sarah and Tabitha residual legatees and executrices. Witnesses: Sacker Parker, Samuel Turner, Leah Parker and William Finney Jr. The executors of Madm. Elizabeth Scarburgh (deceased) presented her will for probation, but Maj. Bennet Scarburgh, son and heir of the deceased, successfully asked that the matter be referred to the next court so he could have time to put in his objections to the will.
Elizabeth married Col. Charles Scarborough, son of Col. Edmund Scarborough II and Mary Cade (or Harmer), about 1670. (Col. Charles Scarborough was born in 1643 in Accomack Co., VA and died 06 Aug 1701-06 Oct 1702 in Accomack Co., VA.)
