He first shows up in the Somerset Tax Lists for 1745 suggesting he turned 15 that year.

On Mar 22 1753, land consisting of 115 ac: from RICH SWAMP, MEECHES HOPE and 80 ac CHANCE, 100 ac of SHIELLS FOLLY [inferred] from Levin Dashiell, planter, et ux. Bridget Dashiell to Isaac Dashiell, in consideration of MITCHELLS IMPROVEMENT (in Somerset) conveyed to Levin by Thomas Dashiell (son of George Dashiell) (SoLR-A:291) [cf. <S>A:207 for this earlier conveyance]
