The following is a paraphrased obituary: Joseph Delano Hitch, Sr. Partner of Hitch-Kassler Mortgage Co. of Denver, Colorado died Monday at 140 Mt. Vernon St. Boston. He was born in South Orange, New Jersey in 1872 and graduated from Harvard in 1895 and then 10 years engaged in the export business with South America. Moved to Denver in 1907.
