Lillian Mary* Hitch

*Not yet sure she is of this Hitch family. It is very compelling that she names sons Handy S. Smullen and Harry Washington Smullen - named after Handy and Washington Hitch? Her granddaughter (through Harry Washington Smullen), Jean Smullen Tedeschi told me through an electronic mail that her mother spoke of Levin Hitch but did not know if it was her uncle or cousin. The only "problem" with her placement here is that she is not cited in the Chancery Record of Handy Hitch of August 1900 when most all other heirs were. Nevertheless, there is a high probability that Lillian Hitch belongs here.

Lillian married Eli Wesley Smullen, son of Elijah Henry Smullen and Mary Frances Lokey, on 27 Nov 1895 in Worcester Co., MD. (Eli Wesley Smullen was born on 15 May 1870 in Worcester Co., MD, died on 08 Jan 1946 in MD and was buried about 11 Jan 1946 in Wicomico Memorial Park, Salisbury, Wicomico Co., MD.)
