Beloved wife and mother Norma Rae Twigg, 76, of Salisbury died after fighting a long illness on Tuesday, December 23, 2003 at Peninsula Regional Medical Center in Salisbury. Born in Salisbury she was the daughter of the late Herman Renshaw and Helen Virginia Bounds Renshaw.
She was preceded in death by her husband Thomas Franklin Twigg in February 2000. And her brother Orville "Jack" Renshaw.
She is survived a daughter and son-in-law Debra Harrison-Tilghman and Dr. Donald Tilghman of Eden, son Steven Townsend Sr. and his wife Sandy of Salisbury, youngest brother Richard Renshaw of Siloam, MD, two grandchildren, Jessica Harrrison of Eden and Steven Townsend Jr and his wife Melanie of Bethesda, MD, two nephews, Gary Renshaw of Allen and Glen Renshaw and his wife Pam of Allen.
A funeral service will be held Sunday at 2 PM at Bounds Funeral Home on East Main Street in Salisbury, where friends may call 1 hour prior to the service. Pastor Joe Martino and Rev. Robert Brown will officiate. Interment will follow in Wicomico Memorial Park, Snow Hill Rd., Salisbury. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Siloam Cemetery fund, c/o Earl Wilson, 27504 Riverside Drive Ext., Salisbury, MD 21801.
