Elsie, age 91, passed away at her home. Elsie was born the daughter of the late Edward & Elizabeth (Geitner) Hitch. Elsie married Harlan Sahr of Fort Atkinson on Dec. 12, 1937. He preceded her in death on Aug. 9, 1991. Elsie was a member of First United Methodist Church. Elsie volunteered her time at Nearly New, the Fort Atkinson Food Pantry and at church. She loved playing cards with her card club, taking bus tours, gardening, and spending time with family and friends. Elsie is survived by her son, a daughter and her spouse, children, eight grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a brother, a sister, and nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She also was preceded in death by brothers, Ralph, Harvey, Ed and Howard; sisters, Doris Spitzer and Hazel Davis; and daughter-in-law, Randy Sahr.
