Benjamin Franklin (Frank) Hitch

From "A Hitch Orchard" by Daisy Hitch Davies, 1931: Benjamin Franklin Hitch was born in Laurel, Clermont Co., Ohio. He died in Bantam, Ohio. He excelled in those more delicate qualities of character which are too subtle for expression. He possessed a beautiful well rounded character and was a noble man and a loving father. Yet the true glory of his character lay in the unselfish thoughtfulness of his daily life and in the little fraternal acts which only those who were nearest him can but remember and appreciate. At the time of his death he left a widow, 5 children, 16 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. His wife was the daughter of Firman White (1792-1868) and Mary White (1799-1879).
